WELCOME - I’M NICOLE COLEE
I'm so happy that you're here!
I’m a Florida-based entrepreneur, civil engineer, and fashion content creator blending elevated style with real life. After running a successful retail brand for over a decade and building my own engineering firm, I’ve learned that you don’t have to choose between ambition and aesthetics — you can have both.
Here you’ll find high-low styling, investment pieces mixed with smart finds, wellness routines, travel inspiration, and behind-the-scenes real life. I believe everyday luxury isn’t about price tags — it’s about how you show up.
Welcome to a space where polished meets practical, confident meets approachable, and fashion fits into real life.

HI THERE, I’M NICOLE!
I’m a wife to my amazing husband Nick, proud cat mom to Pierre, SuperFuzz, & Mama Kitty, entrepreneur, civil engineer, and the founder of Bikini Slayer — the blog that grew into an 12-year e-commerce brand and evolved into the elevated lifestyle platform you’re reading today.
I grew up in New Smyrna Beach and now split my time between there and Orlando. Beach roots, city ambition — I’ve always lived somewhere in between.
By day, I run my civil engineering firm. By nature, I’m a creator. And Bikini Slayer? That’s not just a brand — it’s a mindset.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Bikini Slayer was born in 2010 as my creative escape from corporate engineering life. When long days at the office felt heavy, I’d daydream about ocean air, sun on my skin, and that carefree summer feeling. What started as a small blog became my outlet — a space to express my love for fashion, beauty, and confidence before “influencer” was even a word.
As brands began reaching out and I saw the impact my styling had on sales, I realized this wasn’t just a hobby — it was a business.
In 2012, I transformed Bikini Slayer into a curated online swimwear boutique featuring some of the most sought-after brands in the industry. For 12 years, I ran the e-commerce store while building my engineering career — and in 2019, I took the leap, left corporate life, and launched my own engineering firm.
In June 2024, I closed the retail chapter of Bikini Slayer. The end of an era — and the beginning of something bigger.
WHERE I AM NOW
Today, my platform blends everything I’ve built:
• Elevated fashion mixed with attainable finds
• Fitness and confidence over 40
• Entrepreneurship and ambition
• Travel, wellness, and everyday luxury
• The real, unfiltered behind-the-scenes
I believe you can be polished and powerful. Feminine and fierce. Ambitious and stylish. You don’t have to choose.
This space is about showing up as your best self — in business, in style, in life.
And the messages I receive from you — about an outfit that made you feel confident or words that motivated you to take action — mean more to me than you know.
Thank you for being here. Truly. It means more than you know!
xx,
— Nicole
SOME QUESTIONS I GET ASKED A LOT:
-
I’m a proud native Floridian — and yes, we’re rare
I was born in Orlando and grew up throughout Central Florida, from Brooksville to DeLand before eventually settling in New Smyrna Beach. The ocean has always felt like home to me — there’s something about salt air and sunrise walks that never leaves you.
I moved back to Orlando for college (Go Knights!) and built my engineering career there, but these days my husband and I split our time between Orlando and New Smyrna Beach.
Orlando fuels the business side of life.
New Smyrna Beach feeds my soul.We balance city energy with coastal calm — and while we currently live between both homes, the long-term plan is to make New Smyrna Beach our full-time residence sooner rather than later.
Because for me, luxury has always looked like this: ambition during the week, ocean air on the weekends.

There’s a pretty extensive story behind starting my blog and the point at which I am today. Click here to read all the juicy details and learn more about how Bikini Slayer came to be!

While fashion and lifestyle content is what you see here, I’m also the founder of my own civil engineering firm. I launched my company in 2019 after years in corporate engineering, and I still actively run and manage projects throughout Central Florida.
Entrepreneurship is a huge part of who I am. I’ve built businesses in two very different industries — engineering and fashion — and I love showing that you can be both analytical and creative, ambitious and feminine.
Around here, we don’t choose one lane. We build our own.

I get this a lot! For the record, I am 5’8” tall (even though my driver’s license says 5’9” ha, I rounded up…sue me). I am a 32D and typically a small in tops unless I am going for an oversized look, a 25”-26” in bottoms, a 7.5 in shoes, and a small in bikinis (even the tops, I prefer them skimpy)! I try to share all my sizing info on my LTK page.

The best piece of advice that I received in my early twenties working in the corporate world from a fellow older coworker was to take care of my face – moisturize, moisturize, moisturize, and SPF. Given that my early days were living at the beach with no sunscreen while people were sunbathing in Crisco oil…I thought this may be a lost cause. Ha! But, I did just that and have broken down my routine for you here! Happy moisturizing!

Elevated everyday luxury.
I mix investment pieces with affordable finds, structured tailoring with relaxed coastal vibes, and gym sets with statement accessories. I believe in building a wardrobe of strong staples and layering in trend-forward pieces that feel modern but timeless.
My goal is to show you how to look polished without looking overdone — and how to make high-low styling feel effortless.
-
Most of my content is shot on my iPhone — yes, really. I believe great style and strong lighting matter more than fancy equipment.
For longer-form projects and brand campaigns, I may use professional photography or editing tools, but day-to-day, it’s natural light, intentional styling, and consistency.
Luxury doesn’t have to be complicated.
-
Consistency over perfection.
I focus on strength training, walking, balanced nutrition, and prioritizing sleep and wellness. I don’t believe in extreme trends — I believe in sustainable habits that support long-term confidence.
Confidence isn’t about a number on a scale. It’s about how you show up — in your clothes, in your business, and in your life.

The easiest way to shop my outfits is through my LTK storefront, where I link everything from daily outfits to travel must-haves, beauty favorites, and home finds.
You can also find direct links in my Instagram bio and stories, and I often organize looks by category so it’s easy to recreate what you love.
I’m a firm believer in high-low styling — mixing investment pieces with attainable finds — so you’ll always see options at multiple price points.
Because style should feel accessible, not intimidating.
