How I PREP My BODY Before a Vacation (My Realistic 5-Day Reset)
Before every trip, I don’t panic-diet or overtrain — I reset. For me, vacation prep is about feeling confident, energized, and comfortable in my own skin. Not perfection. Just intention.
Here’s what actually works for me:
1. Lift + walk daily
I focus on strength training (especially glutes and upper body) and finish with incline walking. Nothing crazy. Just consistency.
2. Eat clean but not boring
Lean protein, greens, healthy fats, and simple carbs when needed. I avoid heavy dairy and processed foods because they always make me feel puffy.
3. Hydration is everything
I aim for 80–100 oz of water daily and add electrolytes once per day. This alone makes a massive difference.
4. Sauna + stretching
This is my secret weapon. It helps flush inflammation and makes me feel tighter and calmer.
5. Early nights
Sleep is part of the glow-up. Period.
The goal isn’t shrinking — it’s showing up feeling strong and confident. And that hits different.
